Baltimore Zen Center
"Before philosophy and doctrines, what did all sages want us to know?"-The Baltimore Zen Center opens its arms to anyone interested in learning about or practicing Zen in the Greater Baltimore - Washington area. Zen Center offers Zen Meditation, Koan Practice and Dharma Teaching with Venerable Zen Master PoHwa Sunim. The center is located three miles south of the Baltimore/Washingtonx International (BWI) Airport in Ann Arundel County.

- SITTING ZEN and KOAN INTERVIEW : Thursday 7:00-9:00pm
- Your searching for the Zen answer itself was using the utmost Truth already. Use your own Excalibur to save all suffering beings from their endless suffering. Sit 45 minutes for two sessions; 15 minutes walking meditation between sittings. Private Koan and Meditation Interview with Zen Master Pohwa Sunim is during the 2nd session.
- FAMILY ZEN SESSION : Sunday 4:00-6:00pm
- Children are Zen Masters. They are mothers and fathers of Buddhas. Help them to teach others and themselves how much life is wise. Bring the family and learn about the utmost Enlightenment in this Sunday afternoon class. From unborn babies to 100 years old seniors, all are welcome. Sit, participate in the Tea Ceremony and Chant. Questions are encouraged.
Suggested Donations $10 per class and $15 for a week. Monthly membership fee $50. Students and seniors half of the fees. Kids are always free.
